Chairman and Co-Founder of Stop Soldier Suicide
Brian Kinsella is Co-Founder and volunteer Executive Chairman of Stop Soldier Suicide, the nation’s leading nonprofit dedicated to reducing the military suicide rate. Since its founding, he has served as a volunteer leader, helping build a trusted, data-driven resource that delivers measurable impact for veterans and their families.
His career spans more than two decades in finance, healthcare, and defense. Brian worked in capital markets at BNP Paribas and later in investment research at Goldman Sachs, advising senior clients on energy and commodities. His professional experience complements his lifelong commitment to service.
Brian served as a U.S. Army Captain, leading operations in Iraq and Haiti and later contributing to the 2021 Afghanistan evacuation. Today he is active as an investor, board director, and philanthropist.
Vice Chairman and Co-Founder of Stop Soldier Suicide
Nick earned his BA in Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University. He then served as an Airborne/Ranger Qualified Army Officer. He served as a Platoon Leader and Company/Battalion Fire Support Officer for 1-503 Infantry, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team during 27 months deployed to combat zones in Afghanistan. Nick was awarded two Bronze Stars and an Army Commendation Medal for valor.
After deployment, he earned his MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and went on to found GoodUnited, a B2B software company.
Co-Founder of Stop Soldier Suicide and Board Member
Craig earned his BA in Political Science and Government from The Johns Hopkins University. He then deployed to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom as an Army Ranger.
After deployment, he earned his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is the Director at TD Cowen, an industrials investment bank.

Melissa earned her BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed post-graduate work at the University of Washington. Melissa is an accomplished leader for companies in high-growth industries and is currently the COO & Head of Technology at Hims & Hers, an American telehealth company.

Obele earned her BA in History, Communication, and Creative Writing from The George Washington University. She is the former Chief Solutions Officer for Tinuti, a performance marketing firm, and is currently the President of Tracer, a data intelligence platform.
